Well, this is not really a tourist attraction, but I still want to talk about this place.
I’ve never seen a cafe on the town wall before. And frankly, it’s hard to imagine anything can be built on a town wall. So when I saw this, I was really excited. My mom wanted to go up, I said if we don’t order anything we’d probably be charged some sort of entry fee. And my mom still went ahead to explore.
The staircase was really steep. It was actually a lot of fun! And the staircase was very narrow (slippery too) that I wouldn’t recommend people with heels or kids to come up here. And of course if you are bigger in size, it’d be hard for you to go through the staircase. But if you can come up, it totally worth the good view! I just love it!
It looks like a place where you can sit for the entire afternoon without getting bored.
And I checked their menu afterwards, it is expensive. A cup of coffee is 4-5 euros. (It’s only 2 euros in Old Hansa!) But hey, the view is really awesome.
So I’d still recommend you to check out this cafe that’s built on the townwall (I thought town wall would be city’s property…). It’s really cool! Just like Rehab from the Bible was living on the wall of Jericho! It’s special!
