About

Hey! Welcome to Traveling Mega!

This isn’t just another travel blog about how to save money or what’s the top 5 cafes to try out. True, I do write about those things, but I also write about how it is like to travel as Christian, and the growth that I have through experiencing different aspects in life.

This is SUperSAN, the blogger behind Traveling Mega. I love traveling so much! And I’ve been to almost 50 countries now! (I’m not even 30 years old yet!) But I remember getting a backpack 8 years ago, and I realized I had culture shocks not so much with traveling itself, but with my identity and values as a Christian in this party world.

I realized at the very early stage that, despite how much I’d like be a traveller, I will not trade it with being Jesus’ child, or servant, or bride. Nothing is comparable to Jesus. And I desire living in a way that pleases him, which is irrelevant to where or when. But it’s such a challenge and struggle, sometimes. Really, I’m not better than any of you, whether you are Christian or non-Christian. But I have been experiencing God’s love and grace through traveling, so hopefully that will encourage some of us.

My travel style is more on exploring culture. Though I love nature and people and sometimes, hiking too. If there’s a free museum and a free beach for me to choose, then I’d choose the museum. However I’m crazy towards animals and beautiful nature. And I hope I’d be able to share more with you!

Do come back 🙂

P.S If you love Israel, there’s another website that I write, and you’ll find me at  www.wonderisrael.com

  • Hi. I’m thinking about traveling and doing a blog like you. Do you know any other Christians who have a travel blog which includes their faith? How do you serve or do ministry while you travel?

    • Hi, I actually don’t know any one who includes their faith in their travel blog. You should start one! Keeping a blog is super time-consuming…. but I’m glad you are considering having one!
I don’t travel for a long time, so it doesn’t affect my work. Although if you are asking about a combination of doing ministry work and travel, I think it is possible… you just need to search for that kind of opportunity!

  • Hi, I am so inspired by this blog. For many years now, my heart has been longing to travel but I felt like this is not a good thing to do if you are a Christian. I am afraid i will be consumed by the world. It’s so nice to come across your blog and know that it is possible to travel while still honoring God.

Haaaay, I prayed that I will be able to travel too sooooon!! I would love to hear from you!!! We are on the same age, BTW.

    • Of course it is possible to travel and honor God! It’s always good to show others how Christian live by example. It’s not just you who will be benefited, you can also bring light to others! 🙂

    • This is great! Sorry that I didn’t come back to check my blog for a while! I’ll have a good look of it and see how I can be a part of your community 🙂
