Tallinn is a beautiful town. And I won’t mind spending more than just one day here.
Some people disagree that prices are significantly cheaper in Tallinn than in Helsinki. But I did feel prices were cheaper in Tallinn.
We spent $7.5 per person for our time in Tallinn.
We went to Rimi supermarket to get breakfast and something to eat for lunch and dinner. The supermarket is right between the ferry terminal and the old town. In the old town we didn’t go into any paid attraction, but we had coffee in Old Hansa restaurant (2 euros per cup) and had elk soup 🙂 And for “other”, we spent6 euros for 2 lockers and 0.3 euro for using toilet.
The distance between the ferry terminal to bus station where we took LUX bus to Latvia was 2km. The road was flat so I walked to save 1.6 euros per person.
Next time I will be happy to spend this money. I got frustrated when I didn’t know how far I was from the bus station yet there wasn’t much time left till departure.
I will also be happy to spend a night in Tallinn. It is charismatic and medieval, and allow me to say, unspoiled in my eyes.
Let me know if this helps!
