Chinese Supermarket in Budapest: Kínai Élelmiszerbolt

There is a Chinese supermarket in Budapest called Kínai Élelmiszerbolt. There are many products imported from Asia here. It makes you happy, if you are coming from Asian background! Bring enough cash! Credit card is not accepted here.

Location

Search “Kínai Élelmiszerbolt – Chinese Grocery Store” , it is close to New York Cafe

Opening Hours

Every day at  09:30-18:00. They really close at 6pm!

It looks like this from outside.

The Inside Look

There are 5-6 branches. This one is quite central and I don’t think it is the biggest store. Think the size of a restaurant. You can find tea pots, rice cooker, and even veggies here too!

What Can You Find?

Lots of frozen products. Dumplings, fish balls, noodles. Lots of fun things.

Snacks. Drink packages. Teas. Bubble Tea’s bubbles. Hard to explain!

And sauces. It’s very authentic, and many locals (Hungarians) shop here too!

Price wise, I think it is 70-100% more expensive than the price you pay from home. It’s quite reasonably priced. For example, this satay sauce is 2800 florints (approx $10), I think we pay around $6 from home!
