Kimche (1640m) -Ghandruk (1940m) 3 km
Estimated Trekking time for others: 1 hr 30 mins
Total trekking time: 3km/ 1hr 15 mins
Comment: Most buses leave in the morning to Kimche. We were late so we waited for 80 minutes for the bus to get filled and depart. I’d prefer not to trek in the darkness. And it rained….. so we really hurried and it turned out we were 15 minutes faster than estimated time, very surprising!
Hi there,
I am planning to do the Poon Hill trek next month and I wondered which direction you think would be easier in terms of going down hill? I have bad knees and find going down worse on my knees.
Thanks,
If you are concerned, then you should do it clockwise! It’d be better to climb up those stairs!
