Total trekking time: 6km/ 3hr 45 mins

Comment: This was a good day. Our tea break was long because it was pouring outside (yes, isn’t January in the dry season??) We wanted to go back…. but eventually we decided to continue, just very slowly and carefully. When we reached Tadapani, it felt like we couldn’t walk a step further as we were wet and tired.

  • Hi there,

I am planning to do the Poon Hill trek next month and I wondered which direction you think would be easier in terms of going down hill? I have bad knees and find going down worse on my knees.

    Thanks,

    • If you are concerned, then you should do it clockwise! It’d be better to climb up those stairs!
