Cheap Shopping in Oslo- Flea Market in Professor Dahl’s Gate Next to Vigeland Park

I didn’t have any expectation on the Vestkanttorget Flea Market. It happens every Saturday from 10-4pm. The location is in a park very close to Vineland’s park, about 5 minutes walk I think. You can ask the local where the flea market is.

There were about 25-30 stalls, most people seem like individuals who want to get rid of their clothes or old stuff. Some people look like real business people (not too many). You can find crockery, clothes (mostly women clothing), and some random stuff too.

My tip for you is to bring cash!

To my amazement, many items were sold at 10kr, 20kr or 30 kr!  I was surprised because the flea market in Drobak was quite expensive (maybe it was just a market and not a flea market)

And the condition of those clothes and shoes are quite good too. And you can actually find many H&M or Zara clothes there. I got 2 H&M sweaters for 30kr together. And they looked new.

I can’t believe that I am now missing Oslo partially because of this market!

So if you are a girl and don’t mind second hand shopping (I don’t), I think this place is more worthwhile than Vigeland park 😉
