Day 3
If you need to find a place to store your luggage, I suppose Ahlens will be your answer (other than if you can leave it with your hotel’s reception) (Left luggage- Where to store luggage in Stockholm besides the lockers in Stockholm C?)
Morning- Djurgarden
For the last day, take a archipelago trip (180 SEK, one-way) or just take a ferry to Djurgarden. The trip itself is quite enjoyable.
Taking Ferry to Djurgarden- The Island of Parks in Sweden
Visit Skansen (if you are interested in one of the oldest Open Air Museum) for a fee, or walk around Djurgarden island for free.
And don’t worry about archipelago trip, you will see just as much on a bigger ship, if you are leaving on a cruise.
Afternoon-Leaving
At about 2pm you will need to go to your terminal.
Viking Line Cruise (Stockholm to Helsinki)- The too good to be true 9 euro return tickets
That’s all! I hope you have a great trip!
Tips
Make sure you take advantage of the cheap cruise ships from Stockholm to other cities such as Helsinki (Finland) or Tallinn (Estonia). It’s really cheap and you’d actually save on accommodation!
Budget
With couchsurfing and visiting free attractions only, I spent only $17.83 per day (including a buffet lunch!)
Backpacking in Stockholm- Travel Expenses for 3 Days
Will I go back to Stockholm?
I would love to go back to Stockholm. And I’d love to travel to northern part of Sweden (connecting to Norway!) But this will happen when I have money….!
